He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Margaret Elizabeth Brode Rafferty, James John Edgar Brady and Master Sergeant; his father John Darby Brady; his nephew Dennis Krantz; his close friends, Ron Falcone and Doug Taylor; his cousin Brode; his sisters, Nancy Webb, Theresa McKenzie and Shirley Krantz; and his friends, Dennis Krantz, Diane Farro, Donna Jensen, David Krantz, Cindy Woods, Adam Webb, Kara Yates, Gloria DeJesus, Vanessa and Michael Berchini.
