It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hilliard Douglas Scroggins of Havre de Grace, Maryland, born in Tallassee, Alabama, who passed away on March 1, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Sr. Scroggins and Willie Scroggins; and his siblings, Luther Scroggins Jr. and Betty Oswald. He is survived by: his sister Dorothy Ballard (Harry); his children, Machelle Brinson, Donna Hardy (Wayman), Becky Haler (Greg), Tasha Diaz, Shay Gibson and Hillary McArthur (Sean); and his niece Shiena Webster. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
