He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Sorum and Corolla Sorum; his brother Kermit Jr.; his sister-in-law Bertha (Babe); his nephew Daniel; and his great grandchild Emma Grace.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his sister Karen Tully (Ralph) of Edina, MN; his nephews, Michael (Diana) of Scottsdale, AZ, Mark of Sacramento, CA, Matthew (Adriane "Ace" Harper) of Palm Springs, CA, David Jr. (Alicia) of Churchville, MD and Jacob; his grandchildren, Sarah Clark (Art), Terra Van Zant (Jason), Juliette, Alexander, Madaleine and Lou Ellington Sorum; and his sons, Michael, David Jr., Matt, Mark and Daniel.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Green Lake-Spicer Funeral Home (241 MN-23, Spicer, MN 56288).
