He was predeceased by: his parents, Orene Green-Brown and Henry Brown; his brother Randy; and his niece Melissa Tyson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Brown; his sons, Terry and Aaron; his siblings, Carolyn (Joe), Emma Springer, Sandra, Henry Jr. (Clarissa), Lewis (Joyce), Alphonso and Ronnie Brown; and his grandsons, Treyvion and Melakai. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
