It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pauline E. Best of Harwood, Maryland, who passed away on December 16, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Pauline E. Best to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Best. She is survived by: her children, Allen Best of Daytona Beach, FL, Sandra Norman of Daytona Beach, FL, Darla Tillinghast of Harwood, MD and Pamela Evans of Gambrills, MD; her siblings, Kenneth Bachtel of Oakland, MD, Juanita Blamble of Port St and Joann Gehman of Lititz, PA; and her grandchildren, Brian, Troy Best, Craig Norman, David Tillinghast, Karen Painter, Angela Marcian and Kaitlyn Evans. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy., Pasadena, MD 21122.
