He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar F. Sr. Vermillion and Gladys Vermillion; his wife Nannie; his sister Ruth Henretty; and his grandson Timothy Lee Pearson.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Vermillion of Harwood and Theresa Johnson of Harwood; his grandson Tommy Pearson (Lucy Parks); his great grandchildren, Maggie, Virginia and Travis Pearson (Lindsay); and also, Devin Keller, Izzy, Cheyanne, Shelby and Delilah. He is also survived by two nephews and a niece.
