She was predeceased by: her parents, David King and Bebe Bertha King (Daniels); her son David Allan Childress; and her brothers, Lee Davis and Lennie King.
She is survived by: her husband David Fugitt; her siblings, Frank Davis, Sr. (Bonnie), James King, Susan King (Regis Canny) of Gaithersburg and Mary Ann Townson; and her nieces and nephews, Frank Davis Jr., Joseph Lee King, Scott Davis, Lisa Marie Russell, Michelle Lynn Cohen, Michael Alexander Davis, Christina Diane King, Stephanie Jean King, Daniel Glen King and Chase Ashton Townson. She is also survived by nine great-nieces and nephews and two great-great-nieces.
