We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2023, at the age of 78, Martha Ann Chaney of Hanover, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John "Richard" Chaney, Jr.; her grandsons, William "Clinton" Ashbrook III and Joshua Christopher Chaney; her siblings, Barb Acab, Trilla "Mae" Waldron and Leonard Waldron; and her daughter-in-law Nancy Sleboda Chaney.
She is survived by: her children, John R. Chaney, III (Jennifer Ruth), William R. Chaney, Sr. (Belinda) and Sherry Alt (Christian); her daughter-in-law Berta Chaney; her grandchildren, John R. Chaney IV, James M. Chaney (Rose), Justin Chaney, Amanda Chaney, William Chaney, Jr., Chelsea Alt, Jordan Chaney, Tyler Chaney and Jayden Chaney; her great grandchildren, James M. Jr., Chyenne, Tony, Jr., Icey, Corbyn, Damien and Sophia; and her sister Elizabeth "Libby" Scott. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Foundations Family Medical Daycare where Martha spend most of her days the last 4 years. Donations will be funded under the name The Martha Ann "The Queen" Chaney Memorial Fund.
