William Lee Minnick Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Lee Minnick (Hancock, Maryland), born in Frostburg, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 4, 2025 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, William W. Minnick and Mary Jane Minnick Buckalew (Williams); his stepfather James Buckalew; and his brother Jimmy Buckalew. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Minnick (Kasecamp); his children, Luann, John Faulkner of Huntingtown, MD, Brook and Melissa Minnick of Purcellville, VA; his grandchildren, Rob Dinsmore, Emily Dinsmore, Ryan, Shelby Dinsmore, Drew Dinsmore, Brian Minnick, Sean Minnick, John Faulkner Jr., Katie Faulkner and Jen Faulkner; and his siblings, Linda Robertson, Clara J Brooks, Lois (Larry Shultz) and Chris (Debbie Buckalew).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hancock United Methodist Church (170 W Main St, Hancock, MD 21750). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Frostburg Memorial Park (70 Green St, Frostburg, MD 21532).
