She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Ellis and Annie Ellis (Jones); her son Orlyn Norman Hess, Jr.; her husband Orlyn; and her siblings, Glen, Cecil, Elmer Ellis and Etta Mae Boyette.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Lynn Hess of Warfordsburg, PA. and Carolyn Spoonire of McConnellsburg, PA.; her granddaughters, Miranda Miller and Amber Middlekauff; and her sister Sarah Solesbee of Prince George, VA.. She is also survived by three great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons.
