He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Arthur and Pearl Adilla Martin Harvey; his wife Frances Lucille Wyant Harvey of Hancock, MD; his son Roger L. Harvey; his grandson Robbie Harvey; and his siblings, Freddie Harvey, Bill Harvey, Arcie Harvey, Bobby Harvey, Naomi Sipes, Sharlett Sauter and Linda Silver.
He is survived by: his son Joseph A. Harvey (Virginia) of Martinsburg, WV; his grandsons, Gene Harvey (Missy) of Thurmont, MD and Matthew Wilson (Summer) of Martinsburg, WV; and his siblings, Jessie Swadley (Ray) of Needmore, PA, Ruthie Divel (Leroy) of Clear Spring, MD, Wilma Leach of Hancock, MD, Janie Smith (Glen) of Hancock, MD and Martin Harvey (Drucilla) of Hancock, MD..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home (95 Union St, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Word of Deliverance Church (21 Honey Crest Ct, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411).
