He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ward and Ruie Ward; and his siblings, Glenn Ward, Claude Ward, Dane Ward, Roger Ward, Emma Ward, Helen Barnhart, Delma Carnell and Beatrice Carnell.
He is survived by: his wife Rosalie C Ward (Moats); his pet Sherry; and his sister Mary Jean Young. He is also survived by children of his own, he was a Special Uncle to his many nephews and nieces and their children.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Grove-Rogowski Funeral Home (141 W Main St, Hancock, MD 21750). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Stone Bridge Church (14904 Orchard Ridge Rd, Hancock, MD 21750).
