He was predeceased by: his parents, Palmer Wilson Bennett, Sr. and Nellie I Stanley Bennett; his stepsiblings, Floyd Bennett, Loretta Fletcher and Carissa Myers; and his stepdaughter Lindsay L. Barton.
He is survived by: his wife Connie; his stepchildren, C. J. Barton (Amanda) and Aimee Punt (Christian); and his grandchildren, Cohen J. Barton and Olivia T. Barton.
