He was predeceased by: his parents, Bradie W. Truax and Lenore Truax (O'Rourke); his siblings, Estella Ruth Keefer, Lorraine Schetrompf, Lloyd Bradie Truax, Ray Matthew Truax and Virgil Wallace Truax; and his brother-in-law Les Schetrompf.
He is survived by: his daughter Jodi Lynn Googooian (Art) of Laurel; his grandchildren, Adrian, Paisley and Presley Googooian; his son Christopher Truax of Laurel; and his siblings, June Percy of Berkeley Springs, W. V, Vallie Schetrompf of Hancock, Linda Ray of Hancock and Gene O. Truax of Hancock.
