She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sheppard and Lily Sheppard (Mae). She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Hamrick and Scott Murray; her siblings, Ronald Sheppard, Charles Sheppard, Laurie Sheppard and Shawn Higgins; her grandchildren, Tyler Hamrick, Christina Hamrick, Skye Murray, Brianna Murray, Beau Murray, Addisyn Murray and Nash Murray; and her great grandchildren, Owen Hamrick, Naomi Shaw and Kayden Murray.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Kathy's name can be made to Children's Hospital, 111 Michigan Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20010.
