He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald L. McCarty, Sr. and Janice McCarty (Donegan); and his sister Elizabeth Ann Young. He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Michelle McCarty; his granddaughter Ericah; and his sister Peggy Zeigler.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parish Hall of St Thomas Episcopal Parish (2 E High St, Hancock, MD 21750).
