He is survived by: his wife Jacklyn Catherine Murray; his children, Deborah Ann Hearn (Daniel), William Henry Tilghman (Pamalee), Christopher Allen Tilghman (Sally) and Ann Marie Pope (Earle); and his grandchildren, Joshua Tilghman, Daniel Hearn, Ann Baxter, Andrew Tilghman, Nathanael Tilghman, Stephen Hearn, William Tilghman, Kara Lahr, Matthew Hearn, Jonathan Tilghman, Michael Crowley and Gabriel Crowley. He is also survived by 41 great grandchildren.
