He is survived by: his wife Jane Ayers (Proffitt); his son William Bennett Ayers, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Debbie Ayers; his son Stephen Thomas Ayers; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Ayers of Bradenton; his daughter Jennifer Ayers Reda; his son-in-law Chris Reda of Ocean City, MD; his grandchildren, Melissa (Adam), Stephanie, Nicholas A., Logan and Nicholas R.; and his great grandchildren, Savannah and Ella.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Eline Funeral Home (934 S Main St, Hampstead, MD 21074). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
