Jessica Lynn (Conley) Paik Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jessica “Jess” Lynn (Conley) Paik who left us on January 17th, 2025, at the age of 43. She passed away at home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jess was born on April 28, 1981, in Westminster, Maryland, to Jim Conley and Cookie Shaeffer Flater. She grew up in Westminster and was a graduate of Westminster High School. She was a devoted mother to her 14-year-old son and beloved wife of 12 years. Jess loved her dog, Roxy Doodle, and enjoyed fashion, couponing, listening to music and cheering for the Chiefs. Jess was a kind-hearted soul and loving friend. She considered herself a hippie at heart who found joy in the simple pleasures of life.

In addition to parents, she is survived by husband Randy Paik; son Erik Paik; sister Jamie Marston and husband Donnie; grandmother Maybelle Reeder; aunts Janet Shaeffer Krolicki and husband Duane, Sandy Barnes and husband Ira, and Donna Shaeffer; stepsister Lauren Grimm and husband Jarrod; and stepfather Bobby Flater.
She was predeceased by grandparents, Ben and Jean Shaeffer; grandfather Dr. H. Ira Conley; aunt and uncle Yvonne and Larry Conley; aunt Barbara Downing; and uncle Bobby Shaeffer.

A celebration of life will be held in April, date to be announced.
