He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Brown Fleming and Myrle Estelle Leister Fleming; his son-in-law Dwayne Beard; and his brother Luther Robert Fleming. He is survived by: his spouse Marion Elizabeth Overholtzer Fleming; his children, Katherine Ann Butler (John) of Hampstead, David Alvin Fleming (Irene) of Hampstead, Lynn Fleming Beard of Hampstead and Amy Jean Fleming of Hampstead; his granddaughter Kari Kimmel (Brad); his great grandchild Franklin Kimmel; his grandson Nathaniel Beard (Autumn); and his stepgrandchildren, Josh, Cody Spevok, Shon, Chrissy Butler, Merilea Baltimore, Matthew, Tracey Butler, Miriam Beard and Samuel Beard.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel (3296 Charmil Dr, Manchester, MD 21102). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
