It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Carroll Lance of Hampstead, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Lance and Edwina Spittel (Baugher); and his wife Barbara Ann Lance. He is survived by: his sons, Bryan Lance (Karen) and Brent Lance, Sr.; his grandchildren, Sarah Lance, Kristina Lance, Barbara Haas, Nathaniel Lance and Brent Lance, Jr.; his friend Nancy Lemmon; his half-brothers, David Spittel, Mark Lance, Ryan Lance and Kerry Lance; and his stepbrother Jimmy Lance. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
