She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Hare and Audrey Bowman Hare; and her sister Evelyn Wooleyhand. She is survived by: her husband Edward Charles Sterner; her children, Matthew Sterner (Molly) and Stacey Hinton; her grandchildren, Kevin Sterner and Katlyn Fogle (Joe); her great grandchildren, Kayden and Jayce; her siblings, Russell Hare (Joanne), Gail Hare, Vicki Howard (Keith), Earl Hare, Mary Carter-Rill and David Hare (Tina); and her brother-in-law Mark Wooleyhand. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel (3296 Charmil Dr, Manchester, MD 21102). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
