He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Whitaker and Mary Whitaker. He is survived by: his wife Laura Whitaker; his children, Amanda Matsis (Dimitrios Matsis) and Joseph Moore (Brooke Moore); his grandchildren, Gabrielle Matsis, Alex Matsis, Braun Moore, Ivy Moore and Ada Moore; and his siblings, David Whitaker, Sharon Mitchell (Todd Mitchell) and Colleen Beck.
