He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Marie Hawkins. He is survived by: his children, Rockford Hawkins, Jr., Christopher Hawkins (Tracy), Nicholas Hawkins and Jeremy Hawkins (Sam); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Taylor, Evelyn and Alice; his sisters, Barbara Zechman (Duane), Dena Leizear (Bob), Sandra Hawkins and Linda Beall (John); and his pets, Pudgie and Lucy. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
