He is survived by: his wife Glenda Church of Swansboro; his children, Cynthia D. Penny-Ardinger (Douglas Ardinger) of Ellicott City, Maryland and Michael Monroe Penny, II (Jennifer Penny) of Fort Mills; and his grandchildren, Joshua Penny, Alexandra Ardinger Morgan, Samantha Ardinger, Erica Ardinger, Jackson Penny, Anna Penny and Chandler Penny. He is also survived by his spouse, children, and his grandchildren.
