He was predeceased by: his wife Nina Plitt; his parents, Emory Plitt and Catherine Plitt; his brother Dennis Plitt; and his sister-in-law Joan Murray.
He is survived by: his children, Heather N. Plitt (Erik Bailey) and Michael B. Plitt, Jr. (Stephanie Plitt); his grandchildren, Murray Plitt-Bailey, Anna Plitt and Joey Plitt; his brother Emory A. Plitt, Jr. (Judy Plitt); and his sister-in-law Marlene Murray. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
