She was predeceased by: her parents, George Everett and Mary Ann Hadley Goodell; her husband Raymond L. Lanier; her son Michael Raymond Lanier; and her siblings, Bertha Gilbert, Neva Williams, Louise Anderson and Everett "Bud" Goodell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
