He is survived by: his children, Leigh Purper (Walter), Evelyn Fisher and Lester Bartlett, III; his grandchildren, Walter Purper, IV, Isabella Purper, Samantha Olszewski and Sabrina Stewart; and his siblings, Carolyn Greenfield and Raymond Bartlett. He is also survived by great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
