He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Lukas and Leon Thaddeus Lukas; and his brother Wayne Lukas (Betty). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lukas; his children, Amy Lukas (Brian Bauers) and Erin Lukas (James Skrakowski); his granddaughter Kaitlyn Ware; and his sister Lisa Lukas.
