He was predeceased by: his parents, Anabel Vogler Saunders and John J. Saunders (Sardiñas); and his brothers, Christopher J. Saunders (Marsha) and Frederick R. Saunders (Sara Feldman). He is survived by: his sister Barbara A. Saunders; and his nieces and nephews, Juliet Saunders Smith, Hillary Sardiñas, Joshua Feldman Saunders, Matthew Saunders and Daniel Saunders.
