It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Spies (Halethorpe, Maryland), who passed away on April 10, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Frederick and Lillian Spies; his wife Mildred Spies; his son Steve Houser; his grandchild Ashley; and his siblings, Sue, Mary Jane, Diane, Lucille, Robert, Jumbo and Tommy.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Spies (Sandy), Timothy Spies (Cindy), John Spies (Sarah), Leo Spies (April Webb), Michelle Houser, Deana Rites (Moe) and Tanya Bristow (Tim); his grandchildren, Christine, Ryan, Dave, Katelyn, Tiffany, Logan, Josua, Siera, Dannale and Payton; his great grandchildren, Camden, Charlotte and Cole; and his siblings, Nancy and Paul. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
