He is survived by: his wife Frances "Frannie" Lewis; his children, Robert Lewis (Katie), Donna Shoemaker, Edward "Tommy" Lewis, Pop of Jacob Lewis, Josh Lewis, Amanda Shoemaker and Andrew Shoemaker; and his siblings, Robert Lewis, Barbara Teeves and Deborah Garbutt. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Ed's memory to the Maryland SPCA.
