She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Richard D. Schultz; her children, Gloria, Walden Melnick, Kathleen and Wayne Mathias; her grandchildren, Kelley, Donnie, David, Sarah, Amy and Mark; her great grandchildren, Hannah, Caleb, Samuel, Tyler, Brooke and Chase; and her goddaughter Nancy. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
