It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecilia L. Kato (Halethorpe, Maryland), who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret McCurley and Leroy McCurley; her son Billy Kato (Mary); and her brothers, Leroy McCurley (late Beverly) and David McCurley.

She is survived by: her husband William Kato; her children, Angela Jagger (Thomas), Kelly Kato (Greg Fletcher) and Rick Kato (Helen); her grandchildren, Amber (Alex), Tiff (Danny), Brett, Aubrey, Dominic and Kyle; her great grandchildren, Alison, Mason and Braxton; and her brother Steven McCurley (Regina). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
