He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Gurtler and Dorothy Mason; and his brother Neil Gurtler. He is survived by: his spouse Lynn Gurtler; his sister-in-law Kay; his nieces and nephews, Kim, Terry, Phyllis, Jeff, Neil and Edward; and his great-nieces, Candice and Christina.
