With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jean McAlexander (Halethorpe, Maryland), who passed away on February 25, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Thomas Walter McAlexander; her children, Michael, Michelle (Todd) and Martin (Laura); her grandchildren, Michael (Stacey), Patrick (Megan), Joshua (Zack), Jonathan (Colleen), Dennis (Amanda), Samantha (Luke), Melissa (Camyrn) and Bryan (Courtney); and her great grandchildren, Tyler, Abigail, Benjamin, Jenna, Makayla, Hunter, Andrew, Sophia, Natalie, Chase, Caroline, Lawson and Olivia.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Betty Jean's memory to help in reopening First Baptist Church of Lansdowne, made payable to First Baptist Church of Lansdowne.

“Our greatest sympathy to Betty’s whole family, as we have lost a dear friend and neighbor. What a sweetie pie!!! Always a kind word. And what a card shark! She so enjoyed her regular “Setback” games with Sandy, Ruby, and me (Linda). Wearing her “dealer” hat she was never afraid to bid ‘three’ and name the trump. She was the busiest 92-year-old that I knew, always out and about. May we all be comforted as she passes from “life to life” in Jesus’ presence. Linda and Jon Field”
