It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Athena Roche (Halethorpe, Maryland), who passed away on September 17, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Michael D. Copoulos; her siblings, James, Johnny Copoulos and Francis Myers; and her grandson Justin M. Serio.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jennifer L. Schoenle, Clark A. Roche, Kristen N. Flaherty and Ashley M. Roche; her great grandchildren, Justin T. Schoenle, Mason G. Flaherty and Kory J. Flaherty; her sister Christina Panagakos; and her close friend William Schmale.
A public viewing will be held on September 20, 2020 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM, with a funeral service starting at 7 PM at Ambrose Funeral home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd, Halethorpe, MD 21227. *Due to restrictions from COVID, please have a face covering/mask on at all times while in our building.
