He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Hunt and Winifred Hunt (Hawkins); and his sister Audrey Fryer. He is survived by: his wife Donna Hunt; his children, Claire Hunt-Heineman (Eric) of Gaithersburg, MD, Karen Hunt of Sutton-Coldfield, England and Grant Hunt (Patricia) of Sutton-Coldfield, England; his stepchildren, Stephen DiStefano of Las Vegas, NV, Vincent DiStefano (Helen) of Hagerstown, MD, Debra Murphy of Bedminster, NJ and Dawn Menge (Erich) of Jupiter, FL; and his brother Maurice Hunt (Gillian) of Oakville. He is also survived by five grandchildren, one niece and two nephews.
In lieu of flowers charitable donations may be made to benefit the New Bern Soup Kitchen, payable to Religious Community Services, 919 George Street, New Bern, NC 28560.
