He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Howard and Leila Bell Renner (Burracker); his wife Evelyn R. Renner (Socks); and his brothers, Howard "Bus" of Hagerstown, Ned "Peck" of Hagerstown and Henry "Tub" Renner of Hagerstown.

He is survived by: his son William J. Renner (Diane); his grandson Gary J. Renner (Regina); and his great grandchild Chance T. Renner of Hagerstown.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
