He was predeceased by: his parent Luther W. Reed; and his wife Sally A. Shaver Reed. He is survived by: his parent Margaret Parks Reed; his children, Allen Reed (Judy) of Hagerstown, MD and Linda M. French (Eddie) of Columbia, MD; his grandchildren, Josh French (Laura) of Columbia, MD, Amanda Carbaugh (Jay) of McConnellsburg, PA and Matt Reed (Amy) of Williamsport, MD; his great grandchildren, Julian Carbaugh, Glori Carbaugh, Sophie Carbaugh, Scarlett French and Jon French; his siblings, Wallace Reed (Linda) of Knoxville, TN and Marjorie Wentz (John) of Maugansville, MD; his significant other Lucille Mummert; and his children, Lois Mummert (Ned Weirich), Dwight Mummert (Shari) and Tonya Alber. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
