She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward C. Nesheim and Lilly Johnson Nesheim; and her husband Paul Ellsworth Carlson. She is survived by: her children, Eugene Paul Carlson (Berlyn Griffith Carlson), Douglas Paul Carlson (Cathy Fuss Carlson) and Sara Lynn Oxendine (Barry Oxendine); and her grandchildren, Erika Carlson-Hiles (Jason Hiles), Chrissa Carlson (William Doane), Kevin Carlson (Kelly Williams Carlson), Adriane Carlson Ruther (Andrew Ruther), Monica Carlson (Nick DeWind) and Philip Carlson (Loren Rayburn Carlson). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
