He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Michael and Retha Michael. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Norford (Dave), Matthew Lynn (Alicia), Daniel Lynn (Samantha Nelms) and Christa Michael; his grandchildren, Kristen, Jordan, Nathan, Rachel and Dominic; and his sister Mary Jane Frazier (Dave). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to support research for a cure for salivary gland cancer to Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center, 750 E. Pratt St., Suite 1700, Baltimore, MD 21202.
