With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ann Whitmore Vance of Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on January 12, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Phillip Vance, Sr.; her parents, Cyrus Andrew and Margaret Catherine Shank Whitmore; and her son Jeffrey Vance. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Vance, Jr. of Hagerstown, Allen Vance of Falling Waters and Brenda Rowe of Hagerstown; her grandchildren, Joseph, Brittany and Dennis Rowe; and her sister Gloria Teach of Hagerstown. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
