He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas William and Lydia Elizabeth Clipp (Butts); his sons, Clark Clipp and Mark Clipp; and his siblings, Anna Clipp, Betty Davis and Bobby Clipp.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Pryor of Hagerstown, MD and Keith Clipp of Sharpsburg, MD. He is also survived by four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
