With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sarah Ellen Kenan of Hagerstown, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 6, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Haw and Mildred Muldoon; her spouses, Joseph James and Faison Leroy Kenan; and her siblings, Donald Haw, John Haw and Mary Lou Nicholson.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas James, Shawn James, Bridget Myers (Ronnie) and Ryan James (Ellen); her grandchildren, Shane James, Erin James, Regina James, Joshua James, Jeremy James, Katie Minnick (Gabe), Brandan Myers, Hallie Myers, Leo James, Caroline James and Guy James; her great grandchildren, Bella Cash, Violet Viscarra and Theo Viscarra; and her siblings, Robert Haw, Thomas Haw and Elizabeth Aikin.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Armed Forces Retirement Home.
