She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond L. Long and Dorothy S. Long (Schelor); her husband James Vollmer; her cousin Carol Ann Longwood; and her brother William L. Long.

She is survived by: her brothers, Kyle J. and Wood; and her close friends, Dana A. Daniels of Hagerstown, MD and Eileen "Sissy" Peyton of Maugansville, MD..

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Paramount Baptist Church, 13234 Marsh Pike, Hagerstown, MD, 21742.
