She was predeceased by: her parents, James Floyd McSherry and Genevieve Bishop McSherry; her husband Charles W. Thompson, Sr.; her grandson Eric Thompson; and her siblings, Donald, John, Robert, Roland, Ralph McSherry, Clara Reed, Jane Miller and Mary Bartles.
She is survived by: her brother Vernon McSherry (Carolyn); her brother-in-law Jacob Bartles; her sons, Charles W. Thompson, Jr. (Belinda) and Gregory A. Thompson (Marcia); and her grandchildren, Jason C. Thompson and Brooke M. Brown (Mike). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
