She is survived by: her daughter Karen Childers (Steven) of Santa Fe, NM; her daughter-in-law Joni Bittner of Hagerstown, MD; and her brother Ekkehard Tietze (Marlies) of Germany. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
