He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Alvin and Ella Geraldine McAllen Bowers. He is survived by: his wife Andrea Jean Hedges Bowers; his children, Justin S. Bowers of Hagerstown and Whitney J. Sylvester (Denero) of Williamsport; his grandchildren, Rachael and Luna Sylvester; his great grandchild Lilith; his siblings, Donald C. Bowers (Jackie) of Hagerstown and Susan C. Bowers Bonebrake (Denny) of Greencastle, Pennsylvania.; and his close friend Dwight Taylor of Salisbury.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (600 S Potomac St, Hagerstown, MD 21740).
