Robert Wendell Kinslow Sr. Obituary
It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say fare-well to their beloved Robert W. Kinslow Sr. born in Edgeley, ND, Feb. 15, 1938, Tues. passed away at the city house (Hagerstown, MD); trusting God for his body, following the example of his godly mother who went on to her reward June 2, 1957. The Bible says: blessed [are] the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works to follow them. (See Revelations of saint John 14. 12-13), also; his dad, whose soul was received into paradise on May 28, 1971; because he followed the godly example of his loving wife in salvation! Glory be to God -he graduated from this life to eternal life everlasting: home, sweet home! Yes! Heaven is the home of the soul who is saved and free from sin, for sin can never enter there; as the songwriter has penned. Jehovah be magnified.
On Saturday, March 14, 2020, Robert was sick and thought it was the chili he ate on yester day; but, as the day 'wore on', he was in such a stomach pain; he could not eat. After offered prayers, he agreed to the reading of Psalm 103 abt. 6p.m. Alas, unbeknownst to us all, the death angel was dispatched and his soul took it's happy flight from a world of woe to meet Jesus, our precious Savior; God, Abba Father; and the Spirit of Truth, beyond The sunset; leaving behind his mortal body for us to tend to---Jehovah be magnified.
He is loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Othelia (Mauch) and Charles Marion Kinslow, parents of 13 children; of which 2 sisters and 3 brothers that remain are Marie Maier, Raymond Kinslow, Duane Kinslow, James Kinslow and Lori Risberg; his children, Robert Wendell Jr., Regina Kay, Shawn Othelia (1961-1982), Lori Ann, James Anthony, Johanna Jane, Joseph Doyle, Phillip Daniel, Lydia Rochelle, Anna Elisabeth and Timothy Daren (1976-2007); his wife Roberta Ann;
granddaughter Aubrey Butgereit (May 5-21, 1980) +11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
